Is car pooling covered by our liability insurance?

Question: When people car pool from the PROBUS meeting place to the hike destination, and then return, are there any special insurance requirements for the driver or the passenger(s)?

Answer: When car pooling, the driver's insurance is the first line of coverage for passengers.... the only time the PROBUS insurance would come into effect is if there is an action taken against you by an outside party or parties.
