Embedding the Standard Constitution for Probus Clubs

Modified on Fri, 1 Sep, 2023 at 1:26 PM

It is recommended that Probus clubs display the Standard Constitution on their websites. Since the document is not to be modified outside the amendment process, it is advisable to point to the master document rather than making local copies. That way any future updates will automatically appear on club websites.

Many (most?) websites allow embedding code that displays the master document on a club website. Please refer to your website's help documentation on how to embed the following code, which you can see in action at https://www.beavervalleyprobus.com/Constitution/

<iframe width="100%" height="1090px" src="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wodecSbXUMh7RLl3lRk-6IUWcDnK7NRXJxjzIaSZ6Qo/view?rm=minimal" frameborder="no"></iframe>

Alternatively, a link to the master document can be added to a club website. Depending on the computer used, clicking on this link results either in a PDF download or in a display in the browser's PDF viewer.
